Kiss Nails

Im not normally one for false stick on nails, not only am I terrible at applying them but I find they last one night and I come home with half of them missing!
So when u was given a free set at the National Wedding show I wasn't overly excited, but they saved my life one a last minute night out.
My nails were in terrible nick and I just didn't have time to paint them or go and get them done, I then remembered these little beauty's and thought I may as well give them a go!
I think the thing that scares me most is the glue! It ends up ever where, I once got it on my eyelash which wasnt pretty, but because these nails have a little tab on the end it made it much easier to place them on without the rest of your hands getting covered with glue
I also think that because of then length (real short) they look slightly more realistic, some false nails to me look awful and plastic. This length was perfect, although I had to cut my real nails as they were longer then the false ones. The colour is also great, you can't see much of the glue behind and they suit my skin tone.

It's my friends wedding in a few weeks and I am considering buying more of these and wearing them again, my mum (who is an avid user of glue of stick on nails) didn't notice that they were false for a while, she wants to try them too!
My mind has officially been changed, the only one thing that I don't like is this build up of glue behind the nail, it doesn't feel nice, but I think I used too much glue.

Jemma Kidd Lip-gloss. Hi shine Silk touch, 18 Perfect Red.

Back in December I took a little trip to the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham NEC. It’s one of my favourite events because of the free samples you get to try and the great deals they have on. One of the products I picked up was this Jemma Kidd Lip-gloss. It actually came in a goody bag and I didn’t discover it until I got home. 

As you can see its a very bright red. (18 perfect red) These sorts of colour don't tend to make it as far as my lips but I was brave and gave it a go and I'm glad I did. Because its a lip-gloss its not too heavy and this one isn't that sticky. its quite smooth and applies well. this wand is a good shape and soft.

When you actually put it on your lips its not as bright as you first may think. you need a few goes to get a really bright red, which was good for me and I only wanted a hint. Here are my before and after pictures.

 Its actually looks more pinky in these photos than red! in terms of staying power this gloss has got it. I went out and had  lunch and the colour still remained even though the actual gloss have rubbed off. 

After a bit of research online I found these Jemma Kidd lip-glosses retail at around the £9 mark. I think its a good lip gloss but I also think £9 is expensive, I think I would be happier paying slightly less at maybe £6 but I am super glad I tried it and will keep wearing it. Little beauties!

31st March 2012 I am Maid of Honour at my good friends wedding, I was completely shocked when the asked me but utterly delighted!
So I'm wearing a gorgeous brown dress from Coast which is floor length so I needed some sexy shoes to go with it. I picked these gorgeous little beauties up from ASOS and just look at them! Perfect - they were £23 in the sale, such a great bargain! I'm so happy I found them and they go perfectly.
At first I wasn't a fan of the chunky heel but after wearing them they are super comfortable! All in all a great buy!
